The 2009 Council Meeting will be held Nov. 5-7, 2009, at the Hilton Minneapolis Hotel located at 1001 Marquette Avenue South, Minneapolis, Minn. 55403. Online registration for the 2009 NMDP Council Meeting is currently closed. On-site registration will be available beginning at 1:00 pm, Thursday, November 5 at the registration desk on the third floor of the Hilton Minneapolis Hotel.
Transplant center certification exam opportunity
The Hematopoietic Transplant Coordinator Certification Examination will be offered in paper and pencil format at the Council Meeting on Nov. 5, 2009. Interested candidates should review the eligibility requirements in the Candidate Handbook (PDF).
Eligible candidates must submit the November 5 Exam Application (PDF) and applicable fees to the testing agency by Sept. 24, 2009. Complete details are available on the NMDP Network Web site or by contacting Gayleen Jensen at gjensen@nmdp.org.

Sponsored Attendees - Airline Reservations
- Make your airline reservations by Oct. 12, 2009, to retain sponsored-attendee status.
- NMDP-sponsored attendees and speakers must call the NMDP Travel Agency at 1 (800) 356-1012 or (612) 627-8108 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Central Time. Identify yourself as an NMDP-sponsored Council Meeting attendee. Travel MUST include a Saturday night stay. Your return flight should be scheduled for Sunday.
International Attendees - Airline Reservations
- Sponsored international attendees are encouraged to call the NMDP travel agency to make travel arrangements and also have the option of making flight arrangements through their home travel agency and submitting a request for reimbursement (PDF).
- Sponsored international attendees registering before Oct. 12, 2009, will be reimbursed up to $1,500 US dollars for airfare. Please submit your receipt to Sarah Nickolay Gray at the NMDP Coordinating Center, by Oct. 12, 2009, if you would like to receive your reimbursement check while at the Council Meeting.
- Download your airfare reimbursement request form (PDF) to submit to Sarah Nickolay Gray as indicated on the form.
