Carolyn Moore Receives:

Coveted Spirit Award

Spirited Digest has named Carolyn Moore of the Gulf Coast Marrow Donor Program (GCMDP) as the second annual Spirit Award winner.

Moore recieved the award on Friday, September 17, as part of the Save the Children weekend hosted by Spirited Digest. The award is given each year to an individual who touches the spirits of others.

Carolyn is a recruiter for the Gulf Coast Marrow Donor Program and the award is in part due to her outstanding efforts in recruiting African Americans and other minorites to become volunteer marrow donors. She was also involved in the collection of whole blood, apheresis, and the designation of autologous donors.
