SurveyAddressing the Needs of Transplant Patients Ages 50 and OlderThe National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) Office of Patient Advocacy and CancerCare would like to identify unique needs of patients considering a marrow or blood cell transplant who are ages 50 and older. The number of transplants for patients older than 50 years increased more than in any other patient age group between 1984 and 2002. Newer conditioning regimens have allowed more patients to receive marrow, blood cell and cord blood transplants. Information in this brief, 9-question survey will help the NMDP and CancerCare develop content for educational materials. Your feedback is very valuable and we appreciate any additional comments you may have. This survey is now closed. No personal identifying information will be collected from this survey. However, at the end of this project, survey results may be submitted for publication. For more information, refer to the NMDP Privacy Policy at the bottom of this page. |
