Information Security Technology Inc. Supports Work of NMDP

This year, Information Security Technology Inc. (IST), a network security solutions provider, used its annual golf tournament as a fund-raiser to support the work of the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP). IST hosted the fund-raiser to show its support and appreciation of the NMDP’s work to provide hope and deliver a cure to all patients in need of a transplant.

IST’s golf fund-raiser on August 13, 2007, at the Troy Burne Golf Club in Hudson, Wis., drew more than 100 participants and raised more than $14,000. The NMDP, along with its fund-raising partner, The Marrow Foundation^®, gratefully accepted IST’s donation at the NMDP Coordinating Center in Minneapolis, Minn., a few weeks after the event.

IST’s contribution helps patients in need

IST’s support will help more patients receive life-saving bone marrow and cord blood transplants. The NMDP uses funds contributed by IST and other organizations and individuals to:

• Provide financial assistance to patients in need
• Add donors to the NMDP Registry
• Support research to improve transplant outcomes
