Learning about Clinical Trials

Many patients who receive bone marrow or cord blood transplants (also called BMT) are asked to consider being part of a clinical trial during their treatment. To learn more about clinical trials, see the following information for patients and their families:

Learn about the Blood and Marrow Transplant Clinical Trials Network (BMT CTN).
Learn about transplant-related trials conducted by the NMDP, Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research (CIBMTR) or BMT CTN.

The National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) is committed to developing and supporting research in the field of marrow and cord blood transplantation. The NMDP Research Program is dedicated to increasing opportunities for and improving outcomes of unrelated donor transplants.
