Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma (NHL) Outcomes

The survival graph below illustrates outcomes of unrelated donor hematopoietic cell transplants (bone marrow, PBSC, or cord blood or marrow transplants — BMT) coordinated by the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) for adult patients.

Figure 1 shows that there is no significant difference in five-year survival for adult patients (> 18 years of age) undergoing non-myeloablative transplantation for non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL) regardless of stem cell source (log-rank p-value = 0.92). Most NHL patients who receive an unrelated donor or cord blood transplant are transplanted at the time the disease recurs.
